THE MEETING OF DECEASED SAILORS

We've walked the decks,
We've sailed the sea,
But now that's all for you and me.
We took a dive and missed a boat,
And now the shark has got my throat.
He took your leg, he took my toe,
And from the starboard, we did go.
Now we're gone.  No, we're not there.
And the captain doesn't give a care.
And now we know what death is like.
We know for sure that it's not pike.
Rather, it's far worse than 'worse' can be,
If there is worse in Heaven, ya' see.
